A Flight By Night Poem by Rajagopalan Kumar

A Flight By Night

Rating: 5.0

Thegolden sun bids adieu heaven and earth
for the day
Silver water strings from heaven to earth
in great array
Necklace of myriad colors adorn the twilight sky
so gay
The silver moon gropes in the sky so dark
to find its way
Asteel bird awaits to take to the skies
on the runway.

The great bird of steel leaps to the sky
Down below myriad lights gazing eyes
Up above know not where the blues so high
A myriad twinkling stars blinking eyes.

From beyond the clouds silky screens
The powerful white silver Night Lamp glows
As if to guide the Night bird on its way
Sprinkles powder light on the earth meadows
Which turn at morn to a sea of greens.

I'm sorry to say that it is difficult to read the poem in its present form. Kindly edit the same so as to segregate the words which are badly jumbled-up.
