Nether Time Poem by Lonnie Hicks

Nether Time

Rating: 2.7

It is that we take this space
and weave its lines
into paper thin gauzy scenarios
where I take your mouth
onto mine
and feel it smile
in the way you always do
when we kiss
so deep its joy.
You like your mouth open then
and I cover it with mine.

I take your hand
and place it
onto my heart
I like you to feel
it beat
and correspondingly
my hand
reaches
out in between
your two mounds of Venus
and your heart
emerges
to rest in my palm;
I feel it's beatings.

Your arms
twin pillars
of constrained yearnings
offer a soft welcoming
in the firefly night
I bring you close
feel our contours meld
into the heat of it.

Special moments
can
stretch time
into eons
from an instant's
touch
no words need
exchange
just the lilt
of both our soft
breathings and Need's Gatherings
rising
in moments
into sensual
heavings
which sweep away
our entwined
clutchings
our spinnings
away
into
Nether-Time.

I ask softly
'Are you my girl? '

And you say
'Yes I am.'
