Never A Clean Break

(This poem is from my dear friend's experience with her ex-boyfriend about their break-up, and she asked me to make a poem about it. She admits that her days were empty and incomplete without him although the love in between them seemed too lost to find again.)

In the heat of the fight, I walked away
No use defending words you'd never say
Insincerity's walls have me gray since..
But was our spark really meant to fade?

It's been nine months since our fall out
There's but no chase to work things out
It's never simple nor easy even till now
Was she worth for us to break those vows?

I miss you being gone thru the days
Every passing minute without you brings pain
Our story turned out not some fairytale
My heart still tries to see thru the rain

I'd be fine if you'll come any way 'round
Before the sun again came down
Babe, know this tells the reason I cried and..
I just want your wishful goodbye now!

(Thank you to those who were moved and delighted from reading this poem, and sent me their words of appreciation. God Bless.; ') !)
