Never Again. Poem by angela anna

Never Again.

Yes, she was once happy.
She laughed, she sang, she danced.
Her eyes would sparkle.
Her heart would be jumping with joy,
Bouncing here and there.
She would talk to you, smile at you.
But now everything has changed.
She doesn't love, she doesn't care.
Give someone her heart again?
She would never dare.
She walks through the halls,
But doesn't look your way.
How could you be so close once?
But so far away now?
Are you afraid if you talk to her,
She will run away?
Oh no, she's waiting for that day.
That day that you would come up, come back.
The day you would share, that you still care.
But meanwhile, she will do all her assignments,
all her chores without a word.
She wont talk about you, never again.
She won't think about you, never again.
She won't dream about you, never again.
But she will never forget you, never forget.
