Never Alone (Sonnet #9) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Never Alone (Sonnet #9)

In darkest nights, my shadow would leave me
But never would I be alone, forlorn
And never would I feel weary, dreary
With me you'll be — be it night, dawn or morn

With you my soul awakes, with you she thrives
Love waters my heart, I'm alive thereof
As buds bloom in spring, I'm born into life
Free, strong willed, from past patterns I break of

Should you go through same ordeal, I'll be there
Come dwell in my heart, it's yours from the start
Come rest in my soul, O soulmate we're a pair
One heart, one soul, created one being by God

As soulmates, heart to heart, never alone
As pilgrims, side by side, we'll walk back home
