Never Lost Poem by branton lansdale

Never Lost

Just a reflection,
Standing still.
The ripple effect,
But again it's still.
Showing it's true self,
But none can tell.
Again it's lost
Again it's found.
A pitiful cycle,
It goes round and round.
It never gives up,
But again it fails.
Leading the unique
Down it's bunny trails.
Again it's found,
Again it's lost.
Fated to be retrieved,
But in spite it seems,
Humanity is bound,
To lose track of nature's sweet sound.

They try and try,
But to no avail.
Nature seems lost,
Seems doomed to fail.
But it never gives up hope,
No matter the cost.
For it never seems,
That nature is lost.
