That the self is important it does seem this way
But there is more to life than talking and thinking of self every day
The self centered sad to say not in the few
And this is not saying anything that is new
If for other people good things you do
People for this will fondly remember you
What goes around comes around only true to say
A saying that is relevant in the Human World of today
Sadly the look at me syndrome with many does seem an in thing
With the people their own praises who love to sing
With the advancement of modern technology one becomes aware
That the humble of mind are no longer rare
That we all need some self love does seem true to say
But too much of anything is never okay.
