I never thought an Angel would make me cry
From so far away—with one simple word-
'Goodbye'—I never wanted to hear such a
Word, from the lips of my poetic angel—
Sweet and sexy-but so much more than
That—soft and caring—loving too—
Yet even more than words my feelings
Are for you-please do not ever leave…
Me…do not ever say that one word—goodbye..
It is too much for this heart to bear-too much
For this tortured soul to take—like a long stem rose—
Cut and placed in a vase-if you ever say the word—
Goodbye—I would wither into a blackness-void of
Life….and this heart of mine would simply fade…
My love for you is so strong—too strong—for me to
Let you let me go…my Guardian Angel…quell that word
From your vocabulary and place it not back upon thy sweet
Lips-love me for today my sweet and lets save the
Goodbyes for getting off the phone my love!
