Neverending Poem by Amanda Riddle

Neverending

I used to be afraid
afraid of love.
I didn't know what it was
noone
had shown me love not my
Mother,
Father,
or anyone.
I've walked this world alone
consumed by false hope.
Hope that one day
someone
would come rescue me
from my world empty of love,
but i could ony wait so long.
So I looked for love in the
wrong place.

I found false love in a
guy who had no love for me.
He loved another woman.
So I left him,
again
empty of love.
Now filled with hate.

My friends told me that
everything would be fine,
but I felt empty and
alone
at times.
Like a vital part of me
was missing and I
had no clue what is was.

Then one day I talked
to you and I felt,
well, something new.
My head spun 'round,
My heart skipped beats and,
You were everywhere it seemed.

Now I find myself in a place
I never thought I'de be.
A place filled with hope,
happiness, excitment, and most of all
love.
I have found that missing part
of me in you.
That missing part......LOVE.

I no longer walk alone
in a world empty of love.
I walk with you by meside,
in a world of neverending love.
