POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
In my old house, the birds knew me as I lived there for 6 years. They were regular visitors to my garden. I loved feeding them. They gobbled up my food in the Winters. In the summers, the trees offered them plenty and so they loved foraging instead of depending on my feeding. Don't know if our tenants feed them as we've let out that house. Now that it's Winter, I miss them. Do they get enough food? I've now started feeding the birds in my new house. This is my 1st Christmas with them :)
