New Kid New Credit Poem by Kovan White

New Kid New Credit

I tried so hard to keep my credit all good
But it seems outside sources quickly took me out to the woods
She beat my name down to the ground Now it's no longer found
I'm searching and looking alone and still not hearing a sound

I can't fathom how she could truly do me this way
She served me up to the wolves on a fallacious tray
There's no way I can stay; I need to pick myself up
There's no other way around it... what she did was corrupt

Yeah I said she, but I bet you think an X did me wrong
What would you say if I were to tell you it was really my mom
But wait, she's supposed to rise you right and be successful
She raised something alright, my credit balances... so stressful

How could she do me like that? I thought my dad was the rat
My wallet's not fat so how I'm I suppose to take care of that
Make her go into her purse or worse send her to jail
Oh well a sale, your credit man it's bad as hell

My name's on life support Somebody send me a medic
Got a headache, indebted I can't even get a burger on credit
I don't get it... why me Look what I've done to your seed
Got creditors up to my neck So much I can't even breathe
