New Life Poem by Darren Harris

New Life

Rain is falling, lighting strikes,
It lights up the graveyard bright,
Thunder roars above the clouds,
The shadows will be out tonight,
In the graveyard, the scary graveyard,
They wander around and around,
Like lost souls trapped on earth,
Forever earth would bound,
But can you see them, really see them,
Walking through the mist,
In between the gravestones,
Of people who are missed,
If you can’t, you’ll have to look,
And open your eyes wide,
They’re walking all around you,
They’re standing by your side,
Just stand still, don’t be afraid,
Because they will not hurt you,
If you get scared and want to run,
Just stay and do what I do,
Just look at them as they pass by,
And feel their love within,
And if you really want to stay,
This is where you new life will begin…
