New Number Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

New Number

No sense of peace
when growth is stifled
I can not think
trying to be easy
but the weight is so heavy
it has weighed me down
What did I do?
making sense of what
leave me with uncomfort
why such unpleasantness
has gotten out of hand?

this concern is open to whomever
changed my number, call me never
No longer will you have access to me
changed my number, call me never
I'm gonna be living life so carefree
Changed my number, call me never

Eliminate the clutter
it's too many people
I don't want around
Offered nothing useful
Spring cleaning is done
They had to get out and go
