New Public Management In Morern Health Care Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

New Public Management In Morern Health Care

In sterile halls where numbers reign,
A birth is measured, logged, constrained.
The warmth of life reduced to charts,
The miracle weighed by cold, hard parts.

A woman waits, a patient sighs,
In queues where hope and anguish lie.
Her freedom cloaked in corporate chains,
Her struggle lost in profit gains.

The midwife's touch, a fleeting role,
In processes that strip the soul.
From tender care to fiscal theme,
She's but a link in a broken dream.

This life, this pain, a cost unclear,
When healing hearts must fit the sphere.
In two thousand twenty-six, we reel,
In search of something human, real.
