New Shoes Poem by Ike knowles

there is black and white in life
but I’m the grey.
the grey spot in life.
first I tought I could pretend that I’m white
but I couldn’t.
then it was night
everywhere was dark.
I couldn’t see
what I’ve been trough.
I tought I didn’t wanna die
but I ain’t keen on living eighter.
life was so unfair, so empty
and everyone behaved me cruelly.
I had no power, no hope.
I had something to say
somethig to admit
but I’ve just denied
and stayed speechless
and that brought lonliness
but now I promised myself
I’ll just gonna be fine
I’ll just gonna get recovered
now I have a new song to sing
and new shoes to wear
I’m walking this roads with my new shoes
and with grace..
I don’t know what happened
but I’m walking trough the light
I guess I’m done with life
as I said before
I don’t wanna die
but I ain’t keen on living eighter..
