New Year - My Brother's House Poem by Dr John Celes

New Year - My Brother's House

The flood submerged their rented house,
And everything got wrecked;
The couple in their old age now
Must start a life anew.

The two had gone abroad before
The heavy downpour came;
Hell got unleashed in home heaven -
But 'tis all in the game.

Yet, God had saved their precious lives,
Though many things were lost;
They thank God for His mercy great;
He'll surely bear the cost.

But success-key is being calm,
And praying all the more;
The New Year will bestow the balm -
God opens newer door!
