Newspaper Poem by Kevin Patrick

Newspaper

Rating: 5.0

A news paper cried
Helvetica Serifs Leaking runny ink blots
across the front banner

It tried to be brave attempting false poise
But it knew the story
Crackling its paper

Like editions before and those that come after The Imminent interest was just the front features
Becoming compost
It moves with acceptance whatever its story It's just yesterday's news

Like it, a fantastic poem, sometimes I think newspapers rule the world.

A very insightful write, serif or sans-serif! Enjoyed this Kevin, it could be a metaphor for a number of issues. Polemic indeed, cool!

Ah, Yes, indeed, Patrick...as the beastly INTERNEThath cometh and slewed thou antiquated source of the days chronicles! ! ! ! ! ! Excellent write, good scribe! ~FjR~
