Night descends—the sun's last ember
sinks, swallowed whole.
Once, the heart sang summer's tune;
now silence lingers, mute and cold.
The path dissolves, horizons blur,
truth lies buried, dim and deep.
You stand unmoored—a fallen tree,
roots exposed where earth once held you.
Stillness thickens, dusk takes hold;
shadows whisper, thin as blades.
The ego hums a hollow tune,
and webs of doubt eclipse the moon.
Chasing flames that yield no warmth,
you lose yourself, forget your name—
adrift in dust, estranged from grace.
The wind wails in a tongue once known,
scattering echoes, lost and torn.
The soul lies barren, bound in frost,
its longing pressed by grief and stone.
Yet darkness bends to light unseen;
even rock yields when dawn returns.
In silence, something stirs anew—
a pulse beneath closed eyes is heard.
Tear the thorns and let them fall;
sow your sorrow, let it root.
Dawn seeps through each wound and scar,
a quiet fire, a rising star.
The seed remembers where it thirsts—
held in the deep, it dreams of light.
Step by step, the path revives;
the heart recalls what time obscured.
Through shattered dark, through fractured song,
the soul hums where it belongs.
Light spills in quiet streams—
soft as breath, strong as beams.
Joy ignites beneath the frost;
in turning inward, truth is found.
And when dawn sings its golden hymn,
a sunlit whisper calls you home.
