Night Finishes Poem by Alex Retzlaff

Night Finishes

The nice night breeze.
The feeling of ease.
The laughs, the happiness, all in one place at one time.
There was nothing at all wrong not even a crime.
Nothing could ever be replaced or mistaken.
All sadness swelled away.
Astonishing as it may be, i felt like a new bird swaying away.
No more tears, no more pains, no more fears to shear away.
No more desperate ends.
No, Nothing, but now is the time to make amends.
The time and place was just right.
Nothing too confined nothing too tight.
All i could remember was the remarkable pleasure.
The unremarkable measure of the night.
The one spot i could get hooked.
The one and only journey i wished could never be booked and put away.
The night and the place where evil diminishes.
The place where night finishes.
