Night Note 143 - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Hello there my sweet love
on getting close to the tail end
of the very late night
and I send you these sweet kisses
of true love and these great big hugs
of pure warmth to say thank you
for all of your patience and understanding my one
and to fill you with all of my tender care
and to give a great big smile
to share along with mine as I think
of you and feel your arms around me
and all of your love as I get up
and get moving around for the day,
I will fight through as much of it
as I can for both you and me.
I love you sweet one you are my everything
and I wish you were here because I miss you
so very bad and just want to start the day
with you in my arms sharing sweet kisses
as we just snuggle so tightly on the couch
while we both sipped at some coffee
and I ate some light food,
what I'm craving will have to thaw out for a bit.
So while I sit here my dear fell my
arms around you as I reach out in pure love
taking your hand in mine and I put
my arms around you to pull you in for
the biggest morning snuggle and hug
you could ever want and imagine.

Thank you so much again my sweet one
for your patience and understanding
of why I needed and wanted the sleep
and for your patience and understanding
even if it doesn't totally make sense.
Sometimes the medications make me more tired than others
and I have been so very deep in the pits
of sadness and to despair missing you
my sweet precious dear and even this morning
I am feeling a bit sad as the last few hours
of my sleep were very restless indeed
filled with strange nightmares that
throw you off when you finally get up
because even through the restlessness
you can't quite wake up and get up
as much as you so very want to and would like.
I had a dream of us though and it was us
like the one sitting in a big grassy field
but you weren't playing with a butterfly this time,
I just remember you being curled up in my arms
with your head resting on my shoulder
with both of us smiling and our hearts
filled with joy being with our Angels, best friend,
and true love knowing all was good and fine.
I love you babe and wish you were here
to today make that dream real.

So my sweet dear I am now going to get
something to eat and fill my stomach
grumbling and empty here as we speak
and get that hamburger for tacos
out of the freezer to thaw for awhile.
Feel all of my love and my warmth
as I'm right next to you giving
sweet kisses and hugs while
whispering in your ear Kira I love you sweet dear
and can't wait to be with you
right here arm in arms gazing into
each others eyes and feeling your lips upon mine.
My heart aches in longing, craving, happiness,
and a million other things when I think
of that picture of us in deep joy together.
I love you sweet Kira and I will write you
very shortly with much joy and trying
to still get my brain going
at full to my liking.
God bless you sweet Kira and remember
I'm always with you and never leaving.
Sweet kisses to you with big smiles
of tender love too from me your Michael
so deeply in love with you.
You are my Queen and my Angel
who I am so in love with and deeply adoring
and I want you to be here so soon
so I can give you my everything
if full everyday to make you proud
and I can see you always smiling
as I give you all of the love that I
have inside just for you my darling so very beautiful and cool.
