Night Sky

How quiet is the mind
when it is
empty to everything?
Then it can contain
the universe
and its stars,
when thoughts are alight
with darkness and bright,
the clearness and nearness
of the black, night sky
with the neon moon winking back
because she is in its sight,
wide awake,
reflecting.
