Night So Dark Poem by Ratan Bhattacharjee

Night So Dark

Rating: 5.0

The darkness was great
With no chinks of light,
Someone comes with a threat
No victory after all the fight.

A sun that shone so bright
Got eclipsed, Reasons unknown
A sun that had shone
Suddenly invited the Night.

Had I been a poet, I might
Have written a line of grief,
Happiness is a sheaf
Of corn, A blindman's eyesight….
