Nightmare - Poem by Sarah Reamey
Oh my gosh, this has to be one of my crazy dreams,
But look how real everything seems!
Running from that horrible creature over there,
But running seems to get me nowhere.
This hallway seems to go on forever,
I don't think i'll ever get out of here. Nope, not ever.
Look at that creature, its rather strange...
Wow I must be mentally deranged!
I see the clock melt slowly off the wall,
Now im being dragged down the hall.
Oh my gosh, I see a mummys tumb...
Have I now reached a horrible doom?
Whats wrong with me, why am I not awake?
I need to get out of this dream before my mind starts to bake.
This clock says 7, im usually up at 6.
I really need to get out of here, hurry run quick!
I can hear scratching on the walls,
It sounds like long dagger claws!
Things are fading, whats happining to me....
I look over at my alarm clock as it starts to ring.
I find myself laying in my own bed,
Im no longer trapped inside my crazy head.
