Nightmare Forth Coming Poem by Troy Clark

Nightmare Forth Coming

The sky is dark, crimson purple
Rain drowns the land
and mountains pierce the sky
Lighting, the fury and hatred
strikes these desolate times
causing the world to shake
Thunder in the distance
drums of the soon to come pillage

Enjoy the shattered dreams
Enjoy the piercing screams

You can hear them coming
Even in your emotionless shell
It’s a race, in retrospect
Tradition, upon tradition
All a simple, basic need
Harvest, destroy, and sleep

It’s a nightmare forth coming
Welcome home, my friends
Glad to see you, we missed you
Come now, and bleed me dry
Silence, Silence, Silence, then-nothing
