Nightmares - Poem by Connie Webb

Disturbing my sleep again
I awaken to your creepiness
Yet I am the one making you up
And I wonder how I could create
Such a disaster scene
Where I am almost eaten up
By some monster chasing me
Or I fly off a cliff only to awaken
To a cold bedroom
Where I flick on the light
To read a book instead
Of following nightmares darkness.
