Nighttime Poem by Natasha Norville

Nighttime

Rating: 3.5

The Moon shines bright tonight.
The stars shine as if they were smiling down upon us.
The crickets' songs fill the air tonight.
The crickets seem to say hello and good-bye.
The wolf's howl is sorrowful tonight as if he lost his lover.
The owl hoes so strongly, saying hello to the night.
The nighttime breeze brings the smells of lilies and roses.
The Moon shines bright tonight.
She smiles down upon us.
She watches us sleep.
She watches us all through the night.
