Nike Poem by Raymond Farrell

Nike

The glorious brand
Head office in the USA
But to my knowledge
The company has never
Made a shoe
Or piece of athletic equipment
In the West
All the labor
Is cheap third world labor
They've been called up short
For their exploitive practices
The horrible conditions
Under which their employees work
So think before you decide
To become a walking advertisement
For this company
If you have any doubts
Think twice
If that isn't good enough
Think long and hard
But whatever you do
Keep your money
In your pocket
The price of you being with it
Should not result
In someone else going without.
