If I could hear your voice;
Just once, just once more
And hear your laughter
That's all I'd ask god for...

To have you in front of me
Is what I long for
But my heart knows
That you are no more.

In the midst of life
I find my thoughts
Drifting to a memory of you
That's all I have now, thoughts of you.

At times I'd smile to myself
Or have a chuckle of you
Of some of the things
That only you could do...

And the rest of the time
When I'm thinking of you
Its only teary eyes just weeping
For I am missing you.

I wish I could have
You here again
I can't seem to go on
Without you my sweetest friend.

It shatters me that I didn't
Get to tell you goodbye
I guess God knew
That's something I could never do.

If I could hear your voice

I close my eyes
To have you near
To see you smile
Nish, my precious dear.

I'm sorry I disturb the peace
