No Ambitious Nor Pretentious Blood In My Veins. Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

No Ambitious Nor Pretentious Blood In My Veins.

Rating: 5.0

No burning fire, no climbing high,
Just quiet days beneath the sky.
My heart, it beats a steady pace,
No rush, and no need to
win a race.

My engine hums, a gentle sound,
With simple tasks all around.
No flashy dreams, no puffed-up pride,
Just peace and calm, deep down inside.

This quiet life, it feels so right,
A steady glow, a soft, warm light.
No need for more, no need to strain,
Just simple joys that will remain.
