No Change Poem by Steve Cornell

No Change

Rating: 5.0

Sick of waiting at the station
Standing out in the cold for hours, just to find out you need a reservation
No seat, wrong train and the pouring rain.
Same day, same week, no change.

Leave skagheads and beggars behind
Aint got spare change and the line i cant find.
Bad day, bad week, no seat
Same day, same week, no change.

Get paid at the weekend, by monday Im broke
More cards, more debt, but still owe that fat bloke,
Dont bother with tax, just ignore the facts,
if I rip up those bills, they wont come back.

No hope, no drink, clothes stink.
Same day, same week, no change.
