No Clause For Me Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

No Clause For Me

No clause for me

Am tired, sick of this
Christmas marketing
Full of songs for fooling
The elders and the kids.

Want to kill Santa Clause
Such big man, rich of lies
With huge bag of gifts
Arriving at midnight
And from the chimney…

These are lies and all cheat
To fool, get free ride…

It's enough!
It's enough!
It's enough!

Am tired of lies of
Kremlin and White House
And Tehran to Riyadh,
Tokyo and Peking to London,
And Paris to Berlin, Australia!

Am tired of the Popes
Or lying dictators
That is now, lamb, chicken
Just because lost power;
And Rabbis who betrayed
The poor man named Jesus
And of course, the Mullahs
Controlling Tehran and Iran!

Wherever, however look around
See nothing but ones who brainwash
To earn, gain, to the end, choking us…

Am tired of myself
For bowing to confirm
Or becoming step
To cheaters who climb…
