No Emotion - Poem by Drew Fleet

There is no emotion here
I flushed it all away
Like feces,
I say, I flushed it all away
Ink from the pen doesn't end
Like the shadow of my knees,
I am above this
But below this
There is no emotion here
It wrote itself
I can't drink it all
So thirsty
So thirsty

Ha-ha! Well when you get up and recognize the emotion that is dripping out of this one, you are going to feel silly. No fear, you are on your way to becoming a poet. After all you know enough to capitalize every line, most young poet(s?) attempting here, don't know that. Read all of mine especially - Who Am I -
