No Grave Can Hold His Soul Down Poem by alessandra kerr

No Grave Can Hold His Soul Down

Honey you're familiar
Your face haunts me before I fall asleep.
Your face appears when I stare in the mirror.
You've slithered from hell and attached to me.
My eyes burn when I think of you
Throat gets clogged when they ask me about you
Lord I hate you with all the vengeance of a drunken man when rejected
Father, do let me be, crawl into the hole created for you
Leave me I beg
