No Happy End Poem by Silence Dogood

No Happy End

Rating: 5.0

I try to be a friend.
Buts its gotten really hard.
Im hiding the truth.
Behind a door that is barred.

I built a wall around me.
Just to keep you out.
Im hiding so much.
I want to scream and shout.

I feel betrayed.
Im tangled in lies.
This smile makes.
The perfect disguise.

Who would doubt a genuine laugh.
Who could see what I hide.
The pain that eats away.
All that is inside.

Theres walls between us.
And a few extra lies.
Are frienship is ruined.
Because of a guy.

Im still trying.
But theres just no hope.
Im walking on the edge.
Sliding down the rope.

Theres no happyending.
For this story tonight.
No difference between.
Wrong and right.

But I'll still try.
To be a friend.
In a story that has.
No happy end.
