No Harm In Trying Poem by bernadette meessen

No Harm In Trying

No harm in trying
Live life till you're dying
Looking over the shoulder
Is similar to lifting boulders
Be inventive and don't procrastinate
Taking chances remains to fascinate
Keep your face a-smiling
Bewitching and beguiling
Keep wishing till the dream is over
If perhaps you lose a race
Find another more pleasing pace
Don't be caught up in a chase
Relax and pick a four-leaf clover
The captain of a trusty ship
Gives good advice from his lips
He offers buoyancy and gifts
Showering optimism upon the deck
with flowers strung around his neck
navigating gently through the waters
to a secret cave and hidden quarters.
Giving a feeling so gentle and secure
as you wonder through Neptune's nature.
No harm in trying
Live life till you're dying
Looking over the shoulder
Is similar to lifting boulders
Be inventive and don't procrastinate
Taking chances remains to fascinate
Then cast away your bones
While hangin' up the phone
Sing some mellow tones
with a feel for the unknown
Laugh with a gutsy belly wish
and swim with the juicy jellyfish.
Appearing is a leprechaun from a Irish kiss
while you will jump with fascination
Shying away from obliteration
Stretching higher than the epitome
forming your final destiny.
No harm in trying
Live life till you're dying
Looking over the shoulder
Is similar to lifting boulders
Be inventive and don't procrastinate
Taking chances remains to fascinate
