No Home To Call My Own Poem by Edith Niemeyer

No Home To Call My Own

[Verse 1]

No home
to call my own,

no name
I choose to keep.

Just roads
that twist and turn,

and promises
I can't keep.

But high
above the world,

where the silent
thunder rolls,

A dragon
heard my heart...

and saw
my soul.

[Pre-Chorus]

Different
we are,

yet bound
the same.

Fire
and fury,

steel
and shame.

Two lost souls...

one endless flame.

[Chorus]

ONE HIT WANDERER!

DRAGON BY MY SIDE!

THROUGH STORM
AND SHADOW,

WE WON'T HIDE!

ONE HIT WANDERER!

HEAVENS
HEAR OUR CALL!

TOGETHER
WE RISE,

OR TOGETHER
WE FALL!

[Verse 2]

I've seen
the crowns
come down,

I've watched
the heroes bleed.

I've learned
the truth of lies,

and walked
where angels weep.

The dragon's
not my master.

I'm not
the dragon's chain.

We walk
because we choose to...

not because
we're tame.

[Bridge]

When the world
forgets your name,

and the fire's
all that's left,

When the road
has no end,

and no one's there
to get—

stand tall...

don't break.

Let them see
what we became...

not what
the world
would take.

[Final Chorus]

ONE HIT WANDERER!

DRAGON
THROUGH THE NIGHT!

ONE HEART!

ONE PURPOSE!

ONE LEGEND
TAKES FLIGHT!

ONE HIT WANDERER!

UNTIL
THE END OF TIME!

OUR STORY'S
JUST BEGINNING,

OUR LEGENDS
WILL ALIGN!

[Outro]

Different souls.

Same road.

Fire beside steel.

Neither owned.

Neither chained.

Two souls.

One road.

Endless legend.
