No Hypothesis - Poem by Jon Edward Walker

I didn’t drink for four days
every day at exactly four pm
I came down with a painful
headache
and on the third day
I began to feel sick
my throat swelled a little,
my fever rose
and I became congested
from my head to my toes
I’ve been drinking hard
for two days now to catch up
and I feel great

conclusion:
sobriety wreaks hell on the human
nervous
and immune system
