No Longer Can I Stay
My tongue is heavy
With words I have left unspoken
I want to tell you
But my heart thinks I would be mistaken
I don't know how long I'll be gone
So I want to say goodbye
But you would never let me leave
No matter how hard I tried
I almost began to tell you
But you warned me not to say
Because beyond tonight
No longer can I stay
I know you won't understand
My longing for this place
It is what is meant to be
So my destiny I will chase
Tonight I am leaving
For only God knows how long
But the distant place I am going
Is where I feel I belong
This poem was brilliant because it was so real and it was very understandale. Many people wanted to leave cause they didnt belong, and no matter how bad they want to tell there love ones they JUST cant.

i am so speechless right now. i like how you are not afraid to express your emotions through this poem. thats what good poets do, and you should definetly keep writing and share lifes messages to the world.
