No Memories



I woke up with no memories
None that come to mind
But as I think about it
I have to wonder why,
Have they been taken
By some unknown force above?
Or have I been granted
From being tortured and unloved
Maybe they are blocked
From my head that starts to throb
As I wonder if my memories
Are indeed happy ones
