Why is it that you hurt me?
Why is it you don't seem to care?
Do you think it makes you tougher?
Do you think it holds me here?

Because I'm sick of your abuse
I'm not sticking around no more
I've had headaches from your hurtful words
So I'm heading for the door

I bet you'll be shocked when you get home
When you realise I'm not there
I'll tell you why I left you too,
Because your tortures too much to bare!

You thought I was your possesion
Well I'm telling you right now
That I don't belong to anybody
So I'm leaving you, asking 'How? '

Why did I stay for so long?
Why didn't I see before?
That I didn't have to live with that pain
You won't be hurting me anymore
