No More Worries Poem by Kiley mccracken

No More Worries

Im dressed thick in old memories
walking out into the cold
the fog hiding me from the world
The ghosts of our past hunt me
recreating the last time i saw you
as i walk down the never ending street
the mock me with my own mistakes
sending my head whirling across the sky
the sidewalk is coming to an end
an end filled with darkness an unknown world
i run, run into the darkness
I feel my feet leave the end of the sidewalk
as i fall through the darkness i close my eyes
its over its done no more worries
one last breath, one last thought, one last tear
i hit the ground
