No Name Poem by miranda elizabeth

No Name

Left alone
In this land of snow
Growing ever colder
As sin takes over

Ice eating Away
At the person
She used to be
Before it all ended

Tears freeZe to her face
Pain to her heart
As blood dries to her hands
Covering what once was

Ropes dig ever deeper
Into her hands
As she pulls her burden
Weighing her down

Whips lash over her head
Cracking like a million lost voices
Of a million lost souls
Moving her battered body along

She tries to run
But the creatures chase her down
Crushing her into the ice
Sending her twirling downwards

Bones break
Crushed into dust
His name is bitter on her lips
She calls out to him

Her last word
As her soul floats away
To a place in the sky
To be forever free
