No One Poem by Muhammad Hesham

No One

Rating: 5.0

(To: Oyinade Ogunba, Nigeria)

The sky here has no windows
The moon no sails
And the trees
Look exactly like their shadows.
No one dreams
To be a son of a star
Or a daughter of a whidah
O king of rain and wind
How can your steps step
And your songs sing?
