No one can judge me;
I do enough of that alone.
I am the one who hurt me most.
I pray to take ownership of my wrongs.
How heavy it must be for my ego—
To accept that I, myself,
Wandered into the world of pain.
Yet my heart can heal
If I release this burdened self.
But ego, I fear,
Will always find a way to steal
The noble truth within,
Untouched, unerring in its grace.
No one can define my worth;
I shine with self-awareness.
I am the master of my redemption;
I can rise from the dead like a phoenix.
How freeing to recognize—
I, myself, can redefine
And transcend from darkness to light.
My heart can take flight and soar
If I let go of the dark shades within.
My spirit will flourish,
Revealing the light of my true self.
