No One Knew Poem by Kaitlyn Leighsomething

No One Knew

No one knew the little girl carries pain and hurt today,
No one knew she had no one to wipe her tears away.
No one knew that behind her every smile was hurt, sorrow and pain,
No one knew with each day that past the more depressed she became.

No one knew the little girl couldn't find a refuge to hide,
No one knew the little girl once thought of suicide.
No one knew why the little girl put up such a tough exterior,
No one knew on the inside that she was vulnerable and inferior.

No one knew she questioned if God was even real,
If so, why would he allow deep wounds that seemed to never heal.
No one knew she had to be fake to hide the hurt so deep,
No one knew that almost every night, she cried herself to sleep.

No one knew the little girl had no one she could trust,
No one knew her once forgiving heart had begun to rust.
No one knew the little girl would rise to be strong,
No one knew she'd overcome her battles she faced for so long.

No one knew she had much potiental, potiential she couldn't see,
No one knows that the little girl lives inside of me.
