No Oxygen Left To Breathe Poem by Cassandra Hooper

No Oxygen Left To Breathe

All these tears
Will never dry
And to this day
I still ask why
Why did you leave
Why did you go
Sad part is
We'll never know
As pianos play
And church bells ring
The mourning song
Is all the ravens sing
For light no longer shines through
The window in my room
Reminding me
Of your silent tomb
Where your body lies still
Due to death
Where you'll never
Take another breath
And as days pass
And years go by
I'll never stop
Wondering why
