Here alone the people sit,
They have no place to go.
Dreaming of places never seen,
They have no place to go.

Talking, talking, always talking.
They have no place to go.
They sit alone in their crowds,
They have no place to go.

Some are laughing, some are crying,
They have no place to go.
All are lonely, all are happy,
They have no place to go.

And here I sit, wondering why
They have no place to go.
And I would leave, but for the reason,
I have no place to go.
