No Rhyme This Time Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

No Rhyme This Time

Everyone needs a day off
To reflect and to recharge.
Return and check here tomorrow,
There is no rhyme this time!
Every day I sit and write.
And when I’m done
I begin to type.
But not today
For I need some fun.
I need to sit out in the sun.
Maybe tomorrow
I’ll write some rhyme.
But I can’t promise you
That I’ll have time.
If this precept bothers you,
Then here is what you have to do,
I hope it doesn’t cause unrest,
But if you really try your best,
Just ink your pen and jot the page
And write down words you want to say!
If on you this is too hard,
Take this suggestion and disregard.
Google has a rhyming tool,
If you use it you could be way cool!
