No, Thank You



No, thank you for love
That comes in small doses
No, thank you, my dove
For a few wishes, a few poses

No, thank you for a wish
That you kept in store
No, thank you for a dish
You cook but don’t know who is it for

Yes, thank you for sharing life
That’s the way it should be
In the end you are my wife
And the best wife you could be

Husband and wife means lovers
Or names given to us
Or names that we give to others
Because others we can trust

Husband and wife, yes and no mix
Each day one carries the other’s name
Because that day there is something to fix
Fixing it takes time and someone to share the blame.
