No Trust Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

No Trust

No trust

Many read my writings
Find anger deep within;
Wondering "USA? Injustice? "

I answer this question
With the conversations…

"In Nineteen-Sixty-Eight
You went to US-Base,
Studied, were trained;
Why against USA? "

I am told and is right
(Not in full and therefore
Half-Truth acts as lie!)

Back at home I was taught
Of leech and Vampire
Metaphor for way of USA.

I knew Washington and Lincoln
With many of other presidents
As well as those after…
I had read stories, Indians';
And savage genocide, Vietnam
And blacks burned alive.

I knew but still
Loved to see the land till.

I entered New York
And ended in Texas;
English and flights,
Sacramento, California.

Met many good people
With dirty government.

Saw heroes were soldiers
Killed abroad to loot oil
And support sale of arms.

I knew most of these
Being there approved it.

I recalled my teacher
A blonde, American:
"Iran is simple, dumb."

Objected I to this;
Blind is Nationalist!

She opened eye of mind
With truths and comment:
"We take your crude oil
For almost free and
Sell the gasoline…
For a gallon's price
We, almost, take barrel."

Sadly, time went by fast;
On return; I had ranks…

In Bushehr came Yankee
Wished a seat in cabin…

"Who is he? " I questioned
"Is a TAFT Team member; "
Said man in Terminal!

"He drove when drunk
In city killed the guys;
Now, goes to USA
To face court over there! "

Feel fired when reading:
"Navy Seal not guilty…"
(He who killed Iraq's teen.)

Laughs Edward, out of court,
In him see that Yankee
That murdering three boys
In city called Bushehr;
(Drunkard was driver…)
